I think the art in CCP's PRC is fake or at least it is incomplete for it is to some extent controlled by the Party. Art should have multiple functions for the whole society. 1/7
However, we all can clearly see the high priority kind of art in CCP's PRC are just the ones which highly praise the Party or the nation in an exaggerate way and meanwhile pretend to be disabled to criticise against the injustice or to guard the minority, etc.
