It’s a fantastic film, but since y’all know I love science/war history, of course I have thoughts… 1) It was unequivocally the right choice to drop the bomb, an act that saved millions and ended a brutal war…if you don’t believe me, spend a little time listening to Dan Carlin’s “Supernova in the East” series on WWII Japan...

There’s a reason the NYT makes cracks about Republicans like @JuanCiscomani, @yestoyesli @JasonMiyaresVA, and @RepHerrell, and it has nothing to do with their defense of the American dream… nytimes.com/2022/08/21/us/… Imagine if a center-right outlet ran this headline about Democrats. There would be justifiable outrage. Why aren’t we seeing that now?

Sgt Clyde Thomason was from Atlanta, GA, and was a Marine Raider and the first enlisted Marine to receive the Medal of Honor during World War II...

Ok, so between all the pieces on our failed education system (depressing), an unfinished debate with a friend (annoying), and bc I told @MZHemingway I would, here’s the tweet thread with my recent thoughts on passing on what we believe to our kids... ..we often hear a viewpoint that Jefferson held on government. That each generation should reshape/reinterpret laws to fit a new lens, and that what we fight for today could just as likely be forgotten tomorrow as our kids make their own choices about what matters most to them..
