Hey @MSNBC.

Do you recognise the man in the picture holding an AK-47? His name is Samed Wajjeh and the evidence points to him working as a cameraman for you in Gaza.

Do you trust him to capture the story faithfully?

Do you trust Wajjeh to point the camera in places that Hamas would find inconvenient?

Do you not think that your viewers deserve to know who you are employing?

A few nights ago, I had a fascinating conversation with a Christian Arab woman, a fellow Israeli citizen, who goes to the same tennis club as me.

I'd like to share some of the conversation with you. Each week, we attend the same class together. And as this war rages, the tennis class we take is a bubble of calm. She's Arab and Christian, the rest of us are Jewish, and we all get along just fine. We joke and are polite. It's lovely.

Amid the current debate, it's vital to recall that Hamas has long used ambulances to transport fighters and ammunition.

See this video from July 22, 2014. IDF forces engaged terrorists in the Gaza Strip, killing ten gunmen. Other terrorists used an ambulance in order to escape the firefight.

The IDF did not target the ambulance that day.

Before rushing to condemn Israel, it's worth examining the facts.
Read also this evidence from the Sydney Morning Herald in 2009.

Saying that Hamas uses ambulances isn't a claim. It's a statement of fact.

Hundreds of journalists and photographers from media companies all over the world attended today the screening of a film of assorted footage showing the extent of the horrors committed by Hamas.

Footage was taken from numerous sources, including from bodycams worn by the terrorists, dashcams, from emergency rescue personnel and Israeli security service cameras.

What they saw left many of the reporters visibly shocked and disgusted.

So you've been caught spewing antisemitic hatred online:

A guide for journalists who feel they've been "silenced" by the "Zionist lobby"

(Thread 🧵) 1. Before anything, know that a healthy media is vital for a healthy democracy. We need our conversation to be vibrant and diverse, and that depends on reporters uncovering things that those in power don't want the public to know.

A little under three months ago, I wrote this article.

Sick of seeing media depictions of the "political wing" as if it had no connection to Hamas's terror activities, I realised that the problem needed to be addressed by the UK government itself.

honestreporting.com/its-time-briti… As long as the UK government draws a line between these two parts, the logic went, reporters are able to simply refer to the government's categorisations.

Removing this arbitrary division was therefore of utmost importance in ensuring accurate media coverage.

Things that are like the Holocaust:

1. The Holocaust.

That's it. That's the list. Seriously, if something disturbs you, by all means, let's discuss it. You have the right to point out injustices. Of course you do. But if you use the unparalleled Jewish trauma that is the Holocaust to make your point, you've lost your moral high ground.

Numerous headlines in recent days have decried Israel's move to designate "Palestinian human rights groups" as terror organisations.

Unfortunately, much of the coverage gets the story backward, accepting at face value that these really are Palestinian human rights organisations. Let's start with @Addameer. In 1969, a #PFLP terror cell blew up a Jerusalem supermarket. Two Jews, Leon Kanner and Eduard Jaffe, were killed. The @Jerusalem_Post reported that Yacoub Odeh "was instrumental... in planning the acts of sabotage and in preparing the explosives."

Hi @Mittaloak,

It seems we have a common interest: Indigenous rights. At least, that's per your bio on the @BenAndJerrys website.

It seems we have another thing in common: Indian roots.

Let me introduce you to my grandfather, Saba Joe.

Like you, my Saba grew up in India. Unlike you, he wasn't born there. His family came from Baghdad, Iraq.

At the age of two, he was taken by his mother to India because Iraq was increasingly unsafe for Jews. They were far from alone. Their story was shared by many thousands of Jews in Iraq alone.

Pathetic.

I love @BenAndJerrys ice cream. I'm sure many Palestinians do too. Wouldn't it make more sense to ensure that everyone gets to enjoy ice cream? It's this kind of stupid, all-or-nothing thinking that led the Palestinians to protest the Argentina national football playing in Jerusalem in 2018.

FACT CHECK: Did the "Palestinian flag" actually feature a Star of David?

As someone who works in the field of Hasbara, I regularly debunk claims made in the media that just aren't factually accurate. But the truth is that misinformation isn't the preserve of one side alone. All of us are susceptible to spreading misinformation, and we need to take steps to prevent taking part in sharing falsehoods.

Hi Tala,

I'm the writer whose work exposed your antisemitism to a global audience.

I can understand anger when your people are under attack.

When I was a student, I was near the site of an IED that detonated in Jerusalem in 2010. A student at my university was killed. But I did not respond with hatred.

I remember when my brother was sent to fight against Hamas in 2009 and was saved from almost-certain death, I was shocked.

But I did not respond with racism.

While many of those attending were civilians, they were sent — against their will — by #Hamas to locations such as this one adjacent to a Hamas military facility, to act as human shields. "Some of us distracted the Israelis with stones and Molotov cocktails."

Women and children are, understandably, automatically presumed to be innocent by Western observers. But in the course of the demonstrations, women and children frequently participated in the violence.

On this day in 1941, during the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, Jews were violently attacked in Baghdad, Iraq.

Shavuot is supposed to be a happy time, with families gathering and eating cheesecakes. But in Iraq in 1941, it was anything but as a massacre befell the Jewish community. As someone with a Jewish Baghdadi grandfather who fortunately escaped Iraq a few years earlier, I am compelled to tell the story that decimated the community he left behind.

Let's stop for a moment and analyse this frankly irresponsible reporting from @SheeraF of the @NYTimes.

The Times didn't post any such article about the Arab mobs that attacked Jews in Israeli cities, pelting vehicles and cars with rocks. Nor did it document the wave of Palestinian attacks on Jews for viral TikTok videos that presaged the current violence.

Proud of my people in times of crisis.

Israeli Arabs from a village near Meron have been offering food and drink to all who need, non-stop, for hours.

In Tel Aviv, hundreds of secular Jews have turned up to give blood to their ultra-orthodox brethren. In Jerusalem, a blood donation station downtown has been turning people away - there's already enough.

In Givat Shmuel, a religious Jew is distributing food for free to families with loved ones who haven't yet made it home, and have been too busy to cook for Shabbat.

Let's clear this up:

1.9m Palestinians are Israeli citizens, have the same rights to Covid vaccines as Jewish Israelis.

5m Palestinians are ruled by the PA and are dependent on the Palestinian health care system. Per the Oslo Accords, Israel is not responsible for their doses. Is Israel preventing Palestinians ruled by the PA from gaining access to the vaccine?

No. Israel has shared thousands of vaccine doses with the Palestinian Authority, and is looking to vaccinate Palestinians working in Israel.

ON THIS DAY in 1950, the first flight taking Jews from in Iraq to Israel in Operation Ezra and Nehemiah departed from Baghdad. At precisely 2:00pm on Friday, 19th May, 1950, a Skymaster jet carrying 86 Jewish refugees immigrants, accompanied by an Iraqi police officer, took off for Nicosia in Cyprus. This was the first flight of Operation Ezra and Nehemiah.

Amos Oz, beloved Israeli author, died on Friday. An outspoken "peacenik" who was critical of the Israeli government, he was nonetheless a staunch supporter of his country. As people rush to memorialise him as an unyielding critic, bear in mind that Oz was no absolutist.

(Thread) In 2015, Oz asked why extreme leftists question Israel’s right to exist: “Nobody presented this question in Germany during the days of Hitler or in Russia under Stalin,” said Oz.

Dear @Airbnb,

My Jewish grandfather, along with many thousands others, fled from Iraq, losing property there, as a result of the Farhud (murderous pogrom in 1941).

Please delist all stolen Jewish lands in Iraq.

And Syria. And Egypt, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, Morroco, Jordan, etc. We can also get into stolen Jewish land in Gaza, Hebron, Jericho, and Jerusalem, too.
