It’s about her being a religious extremist who belongs to a small fringe group, People of Praise, that demands exclusive loyalty and obedience from its members and that many Catholics reject.

This wording doesn't touch the full scale of how nuts QAnon is. 1/ "Deep state" conspiracy rhetoric has been mainstreamed in the GOP, so maybe some voters are "just" responding to rhetoric they're familiar with from party leaders, and don't actually know enough about QAnon to know how nuts it is. So for the last few months, I've had this *very* persistent and pretty dumb, but also seemingly sweet and well-intentioned, reply-guy in my mentions. Something seemed a little off about him, but I still engaged him politely on occasion.

Wow. THIS is their explanation for kettling hundreds of peaceful protesters and reporters, gassing them, laying siege to them in private homes, and assaulting one of the homeowners. That “info on social media” included livestreamed video, tweets/photos from reporters who were kettled, tweets/firsthand accounts from multiple people sheltering in houses, and the homeowner’s first-person account of being assaulted by police & having teargas shot into his home.

I won't lie. It's pretty devastating to have to postpone our honeymoon a second time—this time, the night before we were scheduled to leave. (The first time we hadn't quite made reservations yet, but were fully planning to right before @DanteAtkins lost his job.) 1/ Even after New Zealand announced a 14-day self-isolation requirement, we really thought we'd be able to make it work. It seemed driving around the South Island and sight-seeing in nature by ourselves really wouldn't have violated the letter or the spirit of the requirement. 2/

Dems had the chance to nominate a once-in-a-generation political and intellectual talent, and elect our first woman president to boot.

The worst part is, most of them WANTED to. But they were too scared and paralyzed by Trump, and too gaslit by the media, to follow their heart. And sexism played a big role in this.

1) Adoption is not actually an alternative to abortion. Deciding whether to parent is related to, but VERY DISTINCT FROM, deciding whether you are willing or able to allow your body to be used to gestate an unwanted pregnancy.
