1- Drogas tomadas enquanto o cérebro ainda está se desenvolvendo pode causar danos grandes! Talvez permanentes. Exemplos: depressão, ansiedade, ideação suicida, stress, irritabilidade e várias outras coisas. Isso inclui toda droga psicoativa tipo maconha, álcool e até cafeína!

2- Qualquer planta queimada faz mal pro pulmão. O ideal seria não queimar nada e ingerir tipo num brisadeiro da vida. Eu não curto muito ingerir pq acho difícil controlar a quantidade então uso outros métodos de redução de danos. Vaporizar por exemplo é muito melhor que fumar.

I obviously hate why this word exists. If you want to verbally attack a cis woman, specifically for being a woman, in one of the most misogynistic ways possible, then hysterical is the perfect word for it. It carries so so so much horrible context in it.

Knob is one of the best insults that the British vocabulary has ever given me.

I spent years looking for equivalents of an insult very used in my Portuguese vocab: escroto. Asshole never quite made the cut. And knob not only rose to end this search but is even superior to escroto.

For fucks sake can westerners please stop writing "person X who created the first Y" when they mean the "person X, the first white dude to create Y" Like I can't believe this sentence is in a whole book dedicated to fractals in African indigenous design.

Today I just realized WHY exactly the whole "lean in" discourse for women's careers causes such a negative reaction in me. Telling women that they have to change their behaviour (things like 'be more assertive') so they don't get exploited at work sounds a lot like 'dress modestly at night'. It puts the burden on women to just adapt to a shitty situation.

What baffles me is that English has a direct equivalent for this, called singular they. It's not like it even needs to take biased probabilistic data as a fallback when the algorithm isn't confident about what to do.
