How did I end up involved in @Principles_1st? I noticed young attorney’s tweets in 2019 that resonated w/me. @HeathMayo had courage & foresight to speak up for principles instead of party personalities. I resigned from #SCGOP & decided to put my efforts in w/#PrinciplesFirst. 1/ If you don’t follow @HeathMayo yet, you should. His voice of reason & consistency is needed in a political landscape built on hypocrisy & opportunism. His leadership has created a grassroots movement that continues to grow. I had to show my ticket, my driver’s license, had my purse inspected & was wanded by a security metal detector before entering. Once inside, I was given these two items. Approx 200-300 people in attendance. @Moms4Liberty had first 2 rows reserved. #DeSantis #Charleston 1/ DeSantis was introduced by local #M4L chair, Tara Woods. Lots of talk about protecting children & praise for how Florida handled #covid, #CRT, school board takeovers, being at war w/ “woke mob” & how the battle has just begun. 2/
