🧵 There is tremendous concern and tension over the plight of the displaced, particularly those that arrived in southern Gaza from the north, ahead of what everyone expects to be an aggressive Israeli assault on the southern governorates when the ceasefire ends. The tension increased particularly after Hamas instructed its contacts in the senior local staff of UNRWA to refuse cooperation for any activity in the Al Mawasi open areas of west Khan Younis, after the Israelis designated it as a "humanitarian zone."

From a tactical perspective, the Israelis are not able to curb the rocket attacks on their cities, as they lack the intelligence on the precise locations of hundreds of rocket launchers installed in urban and agricultural areas in Gaza over the years.
