 The attention of the Lagos State Government has been drawn to some social media publications about a purported mass burial plan for casualties of the 2020 #EndSARS incident. Peddlers of the news are deliberately misinterpreting and sensationalizing a letter from the Lagos State Government Public Procurement Agency titled: Letter of No Objection – Mass Burial for the 103, the Year 2020 ENDSARS victims, to misinform the public,

LASG serves Iganmu under bridge squatters quit notice
Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit (Taskforce) today served squatters at Iganmu Under Bridge (Whitesand) a 3 – day Removal Notice of all illegal structures, trucks and vehicles in the area. 
@jidesanwoolu The Chairman of the Agency, CSP Shola Jejeloye, advised the owners of the illegal structures, abandoned trucks and shanties to immediately remove them as well as vacate the area within the stipulated date given to them by the State Government.

Lagos State Government has rolled out a $20 million (COVID-19) Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (Lagos CARES) Programme to support livelihood for poor and vulnerable households and to expand food security services in the State.

2 Arrested During Initiation
The Police Operatives attached to Ikorodu Division and local vigilantes, on 19/04/2021 at about 7.30pm has arrested one FATAI KALEJAIYE, m, 25, OF NO 21 IGBE LARA AREA OF IKORODU, Lagos State while initiating one KOLAPO AYEOBASAN, m, 20, OF NO 4 ANIFOEOSE Street, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The suspect, Fatai, who has confessed to be a member of Eye Confraternity, was caught while performing rites of initiating the second suspect, Kolapo.

#COVID19 protocols: LASG eases restriction on event centres.
Occupancy limit at any event must not exceed 50% of the maximum design capacity of the hall, wherein Occupancy Limit stickers provided by the @safety_lasg must be boldly pasted at the entrance of the event hall. Maximum allowable capacity for Event Centers irrespective of occupancy limit is 500 people.
Deep cleaning must be carried out before and after every event.

ANOTHER ATTACK ON LASTMA OFFICIALS

The Lagos State Government has again condemned the action of some Naval Ratings noted for escorting commercial vehicles, who attacked @followlastma Personnel for apprehending a VOLKSWAGEN BUS with registration number LSD 73 XT.

According to eyewitnesses, the said bus obstructed the flow of traffic at Onipanu inward Fadeyi on Ikorodu Road and evaded arrest. It took the determined efforts of the LASTMA Team to track down the vehicle at Fadeyi inward Jibowu.

The burglar had gained entrance into the room of one Mrs Adeyemi Opeyemi, f, of No 2, Asalu Bus Stop, off Abaranje Road, Ikotun, Lagos in attempt to rob her but she raised alarm and the burglar

Correctional Facilities: Lagos State Police Command puts formations on Red Alert for protection

The Commissioner of @PoliceNG Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, in a bid to be proactive to fortifying security in and around Police formations and Correctional Centres in Lagos State, has summoned the Area Commanders, Mobile Police Commanders and Conmmanders of the Tactical Operational Units of the command to deliberate and review operational strategies of the command towards forestalling any attacks in the state.

LAGOS POLICE ARREST 27 SUSPECTS AT CRIMINAL HIDEOUTS
Sequel to the commitment of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, to continually take anti crime fight to the dens of criminals and miscreants in the state, the Police Command has arrested twenty seven (27) suspects in a planned raid of different blackspots in the Lagos metropolis between the late hours of Thursday 4th and early hours of Friday 5th February, 2021.
