Unsolicited advice for parents/guardians/family members with children/teens around during the holidays (and just in general), a thread:
1. Children’s bodies belong to themselves, bodily autonomy is key. They do not have to hug, kiss,
be held or sit on laps of anyone they don’t want to, please ask if they are comfortable with this and never ever force them to be affectionate.
2. NO body shaming! There’s no reason to talk about anyone’s body, so don’t do this to children/teens either.
