@SylDeLaMer @HairyAngus @TartanSeer @theSNP @JohnSwinney A key flaw in your argument is assuming Brexit and Scottish independence are directly comparable. They aren’t… (1) @SylDeLaMer @HairyAngus @TartanSeer @theSNP @JohnSwinney Brexit was a hard, abrupt withdrawal from the world’s largest single market, negotiated with no clear plan and driven by a UK Government that prioritised political symbolism over economic continuity. What British nationalists have done to deflect from #PartyGate:

- Claimed Nicola Sturgeon illegally hosted a Christmas party & stated it was in November 2020 when it was actually it was a family gathering for her cousin's 40th in November 2021, with it being in the guidelines - Created a conspiracy theory which claimed Nicola Sturgeon went abroad for the festive season despite the fact she wasn't and that she broke the rules despite there being no curbs on international travel

"More People Voted For Pro-Union Parties, No Majority For Indy Claim DEBUNKED"

It really is unbelievable that BritNats still hang on to the '54% voted for pro-union parties' at the 2019 election. That argument is flawed in so many ways as I point out in this thread: 1) A general election is not a referendum and not a good tool to determine support for independence. Yes, it can show where most support lies depending on parties but what many BritNats fail to realise is that there are independence supporters that support pro-union parties....
