The other night I learnt of Andy Dexterity auditioning for @TheVoiceAU. In the preview for this season, Dexterity said "466 million people are hard of hearing or deaf. I'm just expressing a different kind of voice". Dexterity used Auslan in his performance, which means he is culturally appropriating the native language of the Australian Deaf Community. This is not on.
