This post is for all those plant lovers who find it difficult to handle plants in pots. Those who think plants look good only in a nursery and they die as soon as you get them home. Here are few things which you need to be careful about : We all have this tendency of picking the plant which is full of flower or buds in it.

Remember : Plants in a nursery are loaded with chemicals. That extra ordinary blooming is an induced one and not natural.

You can start the process by cleaning and soaking a cup of toor dal for 10/ 15 mins. #OdiaCusine Meanwhile u can chop vegetables. In rural areas they use plenty of vegetables to prepare this dish but here I m using selected few. I have added carrots which authentic dalma recipe doesn't include.

So I have taken brinjal , papaya, potato, beans, pumpkin, carrot and tomatoes.
