I have loved and appreciated Beth Moore’s ministry and will continue to in the future. Personally, she has been an encouragement to me and I will always be grateful. (1/5)

baptistpress.com/resource-libra… I am grieved anytime someone who believes in the inerrant Scripture, shares our values and desires to cooperate says that they do not feel at home in our convention. (2/5)

(1/5) Sometimes I hear people say, “All you Christians care about is the preborn!” Don’t believe it. Since 1973, for every 1 abortion clinic in America Christians have built 3 pregnancy centers to assist women in crisis. (2/5) They are buying groceries and helping them get housing and whatever else. Go into foster services and adoption agencies and there you will find the group represented most are pro-life Christians and their friends.

Thank you Dr. Evans!

This is a discussion that needs nuance, not blunt force trauma. I am grieving the devastation of a family, the racialized society in which this happened, which gives rise to seemingly incessant... 3/

(1/6) The ACP data that released today is not easy to read, but we must take it in and appreciate what it tells us. Facts are our friends, even when we are disappointed by the results. bit.ly/2VNPqNk (2/6) The numbers released today strengthen my resolve that every Southern Baptist - conventions, associations, entities, and especially local churches - must prioritize the Gospel above all. Scripture tells us that the gospel is the power to save.

I am broken over what was revealed today. The abuses described in this @HoustonChron article are pure evil. I join with countless others who are currently “weeping with those who weep.” 1/9
chron.com/news/investiga… The voices in this article should be heard as a warning sent from God, calling the church to repent. As Christians, we are called to expose everything sinful to the light. The survivors in this article have done that—at a personal cost few of us can fathom. 2/9
