Since the HHS news on 8/30, the tier-two basket continues to be the top performer. It is up 74% on average, versus 54% for tier one and 37% for tier three. (1/5) Image Within the tier-two group, $FFNTF has had the biggest bounce, +137% since 8/30. $AYRWF is +105% and $JUSHF is not far behind +104%. $TSND is up the least, but it was up the most coming into the event and at +61% YTD it remains a top performer. Disappointing to see Cowen stopping coverage of MSOs. In a lonely landscape, more coverage is better. We’re reaching out to these operators to see if we can help with our services at @WTR_Research. 1/3 Image Most #cannabis #ETFs use Cowen as at least one of their counterparties and sounds like they will be transitioning to new relationships. I’ll let them share their plans, but interruptions are not expected. $MSOS $PSDN $MJUS $WEED 2/3

I recently met with a large pre-roll manufacturer in California. I think of pre-rolls like hot dogs—they are made with leftover parts. I was not too far off, here are 3 things I learned. (1/4) The material they use is what you might find in the bottom of pound bags…think smalls, shake, and dust. They grind this all up, sort out the stems, and have 280 minimum-wage workers in a warehouse in LA fill the cones. (2/4)
