Isn’t it odd that so many of Warren Buffett’s companies profit from or directly lead to the pain and suffering of humans? And isn’t it odd that so many are being disrupted directly by @ElonMusk via $TSLA?

Warren and $BRK owned Nevada Energy famously fought and tried to crush rooftop solar owners and Elon Musk’s solar city.

He owns massive ever growing positions in $CVX and $OXY that continue to pollute where they are extracted and wherever they are used. Tesla Megapack Energy storage system is quickly growing in adoption.

Both Kraft $KHC and Coke $KO are sugar filled junk food causing lifelong health issues for children and adults. (Still waiting on Tesla Candy 🍭 😜)

His aging and failing rail systems in BRK owned Burlington Railway BNSF are going to continue to lose customers to Tesla Semi and eventually autonomous trucking.

Berkshire Hathaway Automotive is one of the largest ICE auto dealership groups in America and we all know how the dealership model is working out.

Now he mentions how autonomous cars will crush his insurance businesses as technology reduces accidents and injuries. FSD will save thousands of US lives every year.

Seems Warren needs to do a little more future proofing his investment portfolio. This is the main problem with never investing in technology and disruptive companies. You’re easily disrupted yourself. As a result of this BRK has underperformed the S&P500 over the past 20 years. Only thing keeping BRK performance somewhat inline with the S&P500 was $Aapl and its 600% growth since he bought it in 2016. And he just sold a large chunk of AAPL this past quarter.

Knowing all of this I have no idea why someone would NOW invest in BRK at all.

You may have missed it, but TWO U.S. Automotive CEOs told people to GFY yesterday.
@Elonmusk told a bunch of spineless virtue signaling execs to GFY in the afternoon talking to @andrewrsorkin

However, someone beat him to that. Earlier in the morning Mary Barra told U.S. taxpayers to GFY after deciding to bail out her shareholders & her c-suite with a massive $10B stock buyback as a reward for poor performance and their inability to make and sell a compelling EV. This is AFTER $GM just received BILLIONS in taxpayer $$ from the DOE to speed up their EV battery plans.

They also received taxpayer funding for Battery plants in Canada to the tune of $220 million.

They had promised for years to have “30 new EVs by 2023” Those plans have now effectively been abandoned, same as all their other pie in the sky EV plans they’ve been promising and delaying (over and over) for a decade.

$GM stock was $39 when Mary Barra took over as CEO. It has been dead money for a decade.

In 2021 Mary made this statement live on CNBC "General Motors can "absolutely" catch Tesla in U.S. sales of electric vehicle by 2025" This and similar statements were repeated by her for the past 5 years.
This is what happens when you decide to go with “fake it, till you make it.”

Why isn't there more outrage over this buyback from the gov and UAW or the public in general? GM cost the US taxpayers over $11 BILLION from the last time we bailed GM out. Canadian taxpayers lost $3.5 billion. Shouldn't our elected officials be putting more pressure on Government Motors to ensure they don't end up in the same spot they did before?

Little 🧵People who continue to praise KoguanLeo seem to not understand what has transpired. He sold to open a large put position on $TSLA as a trade to make $ & now that the stock is well below his sale point he's being forced to take assignment of those shares or book the loss. He's not buying $TSLA cuz he wants to help retail, he's being FORCED TO BUY them because he made a bad trade. And that is why his posts are so vitriolic & aggressive. Had he not gotten greedy & not used leverage & just bought more shares slowly he would be happy to be buying now.
