This is the River Lambourn which sits nestled in the wonderful North Wessex Downs AONB, and it is indeed wonderful - a gorgeous clear chalk stream which flows from Lambourn in the downs to meet the River Kennet just near Newbury...it's known as the valley of the racehorse 🐎

The area sits between a busy railway and a dual carriageway near a town in the SE of England. We are blessed to be near a number of waterways and floodplain which is used as farmland, with elements of access across it or near it. A quiet haven against distant noise
