NEW: Every week this year, we asked what folks' biggest concern for the election was and gave them a blank space to respond.

Little did we know what 2020 would bring. In the 70k+ responses, there was one constant: Trump. A thread.
morningconsult.com/2020/10/27/202… More often times than not, throughout 2020, people wrote something that fell into the “partisanship” category. [Think: “Concerned the democrats will take over” or “Trump does not listen to his advisors,” two actual open-ended responses from this spring.]

NEW from me: We asked folks to identify Iran on an unlabeled map.

28% of them got it right. Here's where they guessed. morningconsult.com/2020/01/08/can… Image Respondents were first given a larger, global map.

23% were able to correctly identify Iran. morningconsult.com/2020/01/08/can… Image

NEW: We polled more than 13k+ to understand what’s driving people to say “there’s too much political correctness” vs. “there is too much “prejudice.”

tl;dr: It’s views of privilege and discrimination, not free speech, that’s serves as a fault line for PC.
morningconsult.com/2019/04/24/pc-… It’s a common polling question to ask whether there is "too much political correctness” or "too much prejudice.”

The question is very divisive. morningconsult.com/2019/04/24/pc-…

How much has #MeToo impacted viewership? Very little, it turns out. My latest for @MorningConsult. morningconsult.com/2018/05/28/how… We asked folks whether they'd see a film or TV series featuring 20 different actors. Then we mentioned #MeToo allegations against them and asked if it'd impact their decision. morningconsult.com/2018/05/28/how…
