Here's an easy & FREE keyword research tip to find related terms on a page:

1) go to a page in Chrome
2) delete the URL
3) related term suggestions will appear

Some use cases below... 1) Map out talking points for long form content

If I was writing a guide to pizza, a section about the history would be useful to include.

Example: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pizza Image

Most people fail at building a successful online business.

Why?

Because they focus on the wrong stuff.

Here’s an easy framework to stay on track: I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She's coming in, 12:30 flight
The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation

Another reason to give stuff a go with SEO...

... you might accidentally make your own luck.

A thread of expired domains, hiring a VA, underpants & luck: 1) Expired domains 🖥️

Last year I bought an expired domain for:

* experimenting on
* testing to see if they work for myself
* to refine my process of going from keyword to live article.
* force me into delegating work to a VA

How to learn #SEO by doing SEO (and not just reading about it)

A thread of useful resources + random thoughts to help newcomers: Best way to learn SEO (IMHO) is to give it a go.

Can you ride a bike?

Did you learn by reading every book & article about bikes that you could find?

Or did you just actually get on a bike and give it a go?

Topic clusters are the BEST way to skyrocket your SEO in 2022 🚀

Here's why everyone seems to be talking about them... Alrighty, first things first:

✔️ Topic clusters are not a magic fix for SEO.
✔️ They don't guarantee rankings (or anything)
✔️ You can get results without using them

I've just come up with an AWESOME idea for a content format I've never seen before:

16 SEOs to follow in 2022 🎉

Strap yourself in for a MEGA THREAD... 1) Janet O

Janet says things like, 'you can't have SEO without O... Janet O'.

No one knows that this means.

In her spare time, she enjoys walks on the beach, classical music and canonical tags.

Does Wikipedia give you enough data to create a topic cluster (for a niche you know nothing about)?

Let's find out... DISCLAIMER: If you want to build a comprehensive topic cluster, there's no substitute for proper research

BUT, that's not always possible (no budget/time, etc)

Treat this as minimum viable niche research (MVNR) which I sadly don't see catching on as the next big #SEO acronym 😅

Niche selection vs analysis paralysis, it's a fine line.

To avoid procrastinating when building content sites, I use a *very* simple checklist before I do anything. My philosophy for building content sites:

Niche sites are places to experiment + generate additional income. I don't want to spend all my time building, managing or putting all my eggs in one basket.

I want to front load content, get it ranked, revisit + improve.

How to find easy to rank keywords (based on domain age) The premise of this method is simple:

Find young websites ranking for terms you want to rank for.

If a new-ish site with low authority can rank for a KW, so can do too with a more established site (probably).

AI content + display ads = 💰❓

Is this a profitable way to monetize niche sites? Here are my thoughts on whether AI content get you:

1️⃣ Traffic
2️⃣ Rankings
3️⃣ $$$ I've played around with AI content a little bit. I'm going to highlight ONE page I created with it.

What you need to know:

* published on 26th July
* 1100 words
* low comp keyword in low comp niche
* published on established site
* no links built

How to plan relevant clusters for topics you know NOTHING about 🧵✍️

(spoiler: it's keyword research) Let's say I want to build a topic hub around 'project management best practices' but I know nothing about that topic.

KW tools are great but I need to give them good inputs to get good outputs.

Sooo, Google that keyword. Open up the #1 result. Copy all the text.
