Avoid indoor gatherings

Do outdoors for groups when possible

Wear masks indoors

Wear masks in outdoor crowded places, esp if there’s no wind

If indoor, increase ventilation by opening doors and windows

If possible, get air purifiers

Buy and distribute Covid tests Understand rapid tests are less accurate for variants

Respect boundaries

Limit physical contact

Sometimes, don’t go to the thing

If in a car with others, open windows

I hope folks are starting to see clearly why militarizing local police was unequivocally a step towards fascism.

If folks are looking at France like “why don’t we protest like that”, feel free to consider the fact that our police forces are standing armies US police rank THIRD in worldwide military spending. This isn’t an apples to apples thing. With the outsized spending on military we get outsized militarization of police.

They deserve every bit of smoke they’re not getting from the government let’s put it that way

Unregulated and uncheck af. In terms of like…quality and treatment it didn’t seem much different than neighborhood schools. Our specific charter was in deep budgetary issues so we ain’t have more money than neighborhood schools, but it was really an exception

Do y’all believe in representative democracy or direct democracy? i think representative democracies will generally fall to the shortcomings of humanity. like, its too much power consolidated. and theres really not enough accountability that can be baked in
