And now it's time to finish Project Green Gables Season 2 in today's #LainaWatchesAnne thread! #LainaWatchesAnne This season only has 40 episodes so we'll finish episodes 31-40 today.

Interesting note, Anne of Green Gables has 38 chapters, Anne of Avonlea which this season is based on has only 30, and Anne of the Island has 41.

Well, it's been a bit longer than I said it would be, but we've got two more #LainaWatchesAnne threads to wrap up Project Green Gables season 2. Today we've got episodes 21-30 and then Thursday we'll finish the series. #LainaWatchesAnne I hope you all aren't too confused about this - I'm trying to do book, then relevant adaptation, book, adaptation, whenever possible and that does mean we're jumping around between serieses sometimes.

Okay, #LainaWatchesAnne time!! Today we'll be looking at episodes 11-20 of Project Green Gables, season two. Y'all ready? #LainaWatchesAnne Episode 11 is another "Chatting with Gilbert" episode and the audio was awful. I honestly couldn't hear most of it because it was filmed in a coffee shop and they're just using the in-camera mic, and it picks up ALL the background noise.

Okay, ready to look at Project Green Gables season 2 in today's #LainaReadsAnne? This season adapts Anne of Avonlea and is the only adaptation that doesn't combine it with the 3rd and/or 4th books. #LainaReadsAnne Episode One is a cute little montage of Anne and co doing summer things. I think we have a Gilbert with a face now!

Okay, it's not a holiday in Canada so how about a #LainaWatchesAnne thread? We're looking at Project Green Gables season one, episodes 21-30 today (plus a bonus episode). #LainaWatchesAnne Our first episode is about Anne breaking her legs and props to them for this fake cast. It's pretty good for what they were probably working with.

Every other adaptation combines it with Anne of the Island and/or Anne of Windy Poplars, or skips it completely.

And it's just about wedding time! #LainaReadsAnne It's the last week of August. Mrs Rachel is moving into Green Gables in a week, and Anne and Gilbert are leaving for Redmond in two weeks.

The Allans are also leaving shortly. Anne feels "a little sadness threading all her excitement and happiness."Aww.

We have just two chapters left and they are my favourite two of the book. The end of this book honestly is just so good. I've read it like four times now. #LainaReadsAnne Anne spends the next month basically in a blur of activity. Not only does she need to prepare for Redmond, but she's helping to plan Miss Lavendar's wedding! There's a ton to be done, and everyone is very excited.

Okay, #LainaReadsAnne time! Chapter 28 awaits! #LainaReadsAnne School ends and Anne's pupils miss her before she's even really gone.

Then we get an interesting scene of Mrs Harmon Andrew, Mrs Peter Sloane, and Mrs William Bell discussing Anne's leaving.

In the last chapter, Mrs Rachel had mentioned he'd been doing better the last few days, and that's actually fairly common before someone dies, that they feel a lot better for a short period of time.

It's not too long today, but I actually really like Chapter 23. #LainaReadsAnne It's a really cute chapter. We're visiting Miss Lavendar again and learning about her past!

One December Friday afternoon, Anne decides to walk out tovsit Miss Lavendar. Marilla worries as it looks like snow, but Anne plans to stay the night.

Last thread, Anne and Diana stumbled upon a house in the woods and met Miss Lavendar Lewis! #LainaReadsAnne We have a nice short chapter - somewhat of a relief after how long that last one was. It was a very good chapter, but my hands got tired! Also tbh I have other things to get done today.
