Just so everyone knows, the white woman covered in tattoos who faked a video to "prove" Rho faked her injuries is a known nazi, t e r f, and "men's rights activist." She and her racist, misogynist army have been exposed MANY times before. Not only are you giving credibility to a white male-centered racist, you are putting money directly into her pockets by amplifying her falsified rage bait. Listening to Vanessa Williams' interview about visiting Ghana is making me ill. Not a word said about the current economic state, the crime, or the horrendous infrastructure, just a gentrified commercial from the perspective of a blue passport holder with money in a poor country. You're more likely to die waiting than be cured in any GH hospital, and malaria still runs rampant. Meanwhile, the country is spending $4Billion on a Cathedral to attract more white evangelicals so blue passport Blacks can feel safer. It would be funny if it weren't so violent.

In light of recent developments, I want to revisit some previous tweets, as I have been waging an online war against sex tourism (now with the convenient #passportbros hashtag) for years. That Black men have created online groups in the thousands disgusts me so thoroughly, because this has been a favorite pastime of white tourists in the Global South since air travel was invented. Time for my daily complaint about Ghana! Today, it took me more than TWO hours to navigate the garbage National Identity Authorization form to apply for the Ghana card. The UI and UX are awful, and the site is unnavigable and rife with typos. The best part? There is no password recovery/reset option so even though we've paid online, we can't print some of the information needed because my dad is locked out of his account so we just have to go to the office guerilla style on Wednesday and hope for the best. 🙃

They are massive hubs of mis/disinformation where people from all walks of life can bash Black people, together. "Conservative figures have continually taken advantage of these platforms’ lax standards for content by ushering in ideas that harm Black people. Convince consumers they are to blame for the ecological disasters caused by companies, and then demand that individuals suffer in an attempt to mitigate the effects. While we froze to death in Texas, ERCOT told us there wasn’t enough power in the energy grid to keep us warm. Meanwhile, wealthy neighborhoods and downtown businesses were lit up like Christmas trees.

As a former COVID19 contact tracer and cluster investigator, I am CONFIDENT the number of monkeypox infections is grossly underreported. And since there is no contact tracing happening, we will never have a real number. Ain’t no way it’s this low. I can name three people, myself, who have gotten it in the last two weeks.

Floating petri dish outbreaks soon come. Now, with monkeypox as a treat. It can take up to four weeks to recover/test negative for Monkeypox (which, by the way, doesn't have rapid testing, yet), so if a ship full of people contract and spread it, the boats won't be able to dock and those passengers are going to be stuck on board for WEEKS.

I just stood over my kitchen sink and did unspeakable things to a whole pound of peel and eat jumbo shrimp, and I regret nothing. Didn’t sit down, once. It wasn’t until I threw away the packaging (after five minutes of intense scrubbing with a nail brush) that I realized they included a bib and plastic gloves in the bag. 🙃

ICYMI: residents of Japan have taken to the streets in protest because only 1% of them have been vaccinated, and they are the hosts of the upcoming Olympics. I recently got a great glitch fare to Tokyo, but between their ban on international travel (unless you are an Olympian or trainer, I kid you not) and their lack of vaccine access, I cancelled my trip. The pandemic is FAR from over.
