In light of the protest going on against AI art, I wanted to share my take on this issue ⬇️ I wholeheartedly support the ongoing protest against AI art. Why? Because my artwork is in the datasets used to train these image generators without my consent. I get zero compensation for tihs , even though these image generators cost money to use, and are a commercial product.

today I found out that searching my own name on @opensea brings up 132 instances where my art was minted as NFTs without my permission. apparently the only way to get them removed is by writing individual emails for each listing, which I literally don't have the time for. one of these NFTs is a drawing I made as a tribute to a close friend of mine who died years ago.

ok so here's what I've learned about my injury (diagnosed as tennis elbow, caused from drawing too much) since posting about it back in 2014. once you get an injury like this, where your arm or wrist hurt too much to continue, you have to just STOP and rest. even if this means sacrificing deadlines, work, school assignments, etc. there's really no other option for getting better.
