This is sadly becoming a too common story country wide! I believe GP’s when they say they are working harder than ever but the truth is it’s ‘harder than ever’ for patients to access them! The e-consult is NOT efficient or effective in many cases & certainly not accessible

and this is why people would rather go to A&E where they know they may have hours to wait but at least they WILL be seen eventually! There is no after care for those who’ve had surgery & community care is patchy at best leading to people sent home without support
