I don't have a word to accurately convey the anxiety in my body all day. The feeling of watching people I love plead for a bad actor not to do the thing that will certainly cause irreparable harm; tear themselves open, their trauma on display in hopes maybe he might pause. Because, each of us who spoke at a press conference today asking Stitt to veto SB 2, know that the emotional impact, the suicidality, isn't a fear tactic. It's real. And it's constant. And for a lot of us it's personal.

This is not the only school board runoff in Oklahoma where someone is choosing an anti-2SLGBTQ+ platform. Find out if you have a 4/5 election in your area. Vote to ensure 2SLGBTQ+ kids don't end up with folks making decisions on their behalf from a place of fear & hate. Give to orgs doing community organizing work, especially those supporting 2SLGBTQ+ kids on the ground in state. I'll make a personal plug for @FreedomOkla, because we could use your support. freedomoklahoma.org/donate

They often disrupt the ability of autistic folks to get the resources that meet our needs, and their infantilization of autistic folks makes it especially hard to advocate for resources for autistic adults and to honor our autonomy.
