In 2012, disabled UC Irvine medical professor Robin Eckert sued Depp and three security firms, claiming to have been roughed up by his bodyguards at a concert in Los Angeles in 2011. During the incident, she was hand-cuffed & dragged across the floor, resulting in injuries including a dislocated elbow. she alleges in the lawsuit that the bodyguards were acting under direct orders from Depp. They also exposed her buttocks to other patrons, the lawsuit alleges.
