At the organisers' request, the 'Uniting the Kingdom' march will now set off at 12.30pm, not 1pm.

This isn't the case. There are conditions requiring it to finish in Whitehall.

We need to keep opposing groups apart to keep the peace. We'll take action against any breaches of conditions.

The march is forming up at the south of Park Lane. It will not set off until 1.30pm.

There has been one arrest so far on suspicion of support for a proscribed organisation in relation to a placard. A photo of the protest formed up on Park Lane. Officers have made nine further arrests during an incident at Hyde Park Corner.

A man was seen in the crowd with an antisemitic placard. He has been arrested for inciting racial hatred.

When officers went in to arrest him they were assaulted, resulting in six arrests for assaulting an emergency worker.

Two other people were arrested for refusing to remove face coverings when required to do so by officers under Section 60AA of the Public Order Act.Officers intervening to make arrests in the crowd at Hyde Park Corner.

Londoners will see a significant policing presence this weekend as the first significant protests of 2024 take place.

Tomorrow there will be a march organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and others. It will set off from Bank junction at around midday, proceeding along Fleet Street and Victoria Embankment and finishing in Parliament Square.

On Sunday a static rally in support of Israel will take place in Trafalgar Square from 2.30pm.

Update on Arrests made during Coronation

64 arrests were made on Saturday 6 May.

52 related to concerns people were going to disrupt the event, and arrests included to prevent a breach of the peace and conspiracy to cause a public nuisance.

Baroness Casey’s interim report finds Met’s misconduct system is failing Londoners and police.

Cases are taking too long to resolve; allegations are more likely to be dismissed than acted upon and there is racial disparity across the system.

Officers have tonight responded to reports of an unlicensed music event in #HammersmithandFulham.

Specially trained public order offences attended after police were met with hostility from attendees.

Seven officers have sustained injuries.
