If clergy want to move their congregations toward a lay-led model, it takes more than just tapping your favorite parishioners to lead pre-packaged denomination-approved discussion groups.
It means giving the laity enough freedom to explore how their daily lives and interests are expressed within the life of community of faith. The clergy’s agenda doesn’t matter. What are the laity’s interests? What do they want to better understand?

I know PB Curry is really big on love, but I’m starting to wonder if the next big turn in Christian belief and practice should be hope.
The heart of Jesus’s Gospel is that the Kingdom of God is breaking into this world, destroying the principalities and powers of this age and calling out God’s justice and mercy to rule in their place. And that was cause for radical hope that these things were coming to pass.

As much as I love #WhatWeDoInTheShadows, it’s full of plot holes.
Probably best example: Later in the show, you find out that if a vampire dies, all the vampires they created also die. But the Vampiric Council makes liberal use of the death penalty, which means they are regularly wiping out whole family lines of vampires.
