Couple things I learned from a nasty drawdown over a year…..

Markets are markets, they all trade with a buyer and a seller, the concept never changes

Simplify your mindset, cut back on clutter focus on tools when and where they are most useful and remember analysis does not Equal execution

If your going to take the time to create a plan, stick to it, otherwise you have wasted time, which is everyone’s most valuable asset.

Trading is only as hard as you make it. The idea that trading is “complex” because of the many “nuances” is nothing more then

Because I know for a FACT on twitter, people are chasing an idea that being someone in this industry is the goal. There is absolutely no award for being a professional trader, no one actually cares. Trading is to generate wealth in every aspect. Don’t for a second think your Perfect “calls” or perfect “trades” mean sweet fuck all, because they don’t, what you extract from the market to better your financial standing is THE ONLY THING that matters. Don’t get caught up in this pretend land called twitter, it’s built for bullshitters and wannabes with

Imagine how pumped I am to of purchased new @YokohamaTC tires for my wife’s jeep last year, to have them wear down to the bar under 8k km of driving. Then follow up to figure out what their warranty would do (8k km = 4970 miles) can’t NOT be covered, right? Oh it gets better I go to the store who sold them to me, “no warranty” gave you a good deal, ahhh ok, so I call @YokohamaCanada and meet with their regional director……they tell me the store sold me the wrong tires for the application (being a professional is clearly an option to sell their tires)

I have spent around 4 weeks wanting to tweet my journey, share my hardships and puke out my guts to everyone. And each time I stop after 4-5 pages and delete it and move on. Why? Because as soon as you decide this is your chosen career, you must recognize you never truly become A professional. What? Huh? “I trade for a living” sure I get that, but everyone who has chosen this path, walks along a sharp edge that even the best lose their footing. I lost mine, for 2 years. I found myself in the darkest, deepest pit of despair and Agony. Believe me when I

The only “right” way to trade, is the way that increase your account size. Everything else is nonsense. If you make money consistently then your a profitable trader. Some feel comfortable trading 1 lot for 500 pts, others feel comfortable trading 500 lots for 1 pt. Both end the Day with equal cash (fuck off with you commissions comments) all that to say, don’t get caught up in guys saying they bought the low and have allowed it to run 100 pts, cause at the same time there’s a guy who bought at a and sold at b with a 100 lots who’s been poolside for

And I mean no disrespect to anyone, so if you read my tweets and take it personally, your either exactly what I’m talking about or your insecure. Plain and simple. 2020 has been a tough year for me as a trader, I’ve had moments of brilliance and moments of what in The actual fuck am I doing. And I’m ok with that, really I am. Because i believe in myself and I know from experience this is not all rainbows and butterfly’s, it’s a journey, sometimes you kill it, sometimes you doubt everything you do. That’s ok. It is, believe me

Really the simple message is this, it’s hard to see people pushing how easy this career is, how anyone can do it so on. Go thru twitter most the pros out there are a little nuts. Takes a special type of person to want to go through the ups and downs of this game It’s unbelievably hard, the hardest career imo to be a pro in. Your trading not only against the best in the world, your trading against computer systems that execute 10000 times faster then you can. I think with enough screen time anyone can be profitable over time but you

Have you ever experienced long winning streaks followed by a short losing streak that wipes your winning streak out? Do you trade multiple markets? Equities? Futures? One thing I found in my own journey is this, trading is a deep relationship between yourself and the market You trade. I trade the #es_f, and only the #es_f most successful traders I know only trade a single market. For me personally, I look at the market the same as marriage or dating. You have to have a intimate relationship with both. You have to be able to tell your partner is
