Since at least December 2023, Russian Western Military District units have begun adding numeric codes inside their rhombus IFF markings.

From what I can tell, these codes are assigned on a divisional or brigade level.

This thread will list all codes I have encountered, giving identifications when possible.Image Code 125
Subcode 2

Found on a KamAZ-63968 'Typhoon' (2024-01-30).

The unit ID is unknown.

Thread of equipment losses currently displayed at a show in Kharkiv.

First is a destroyed Russian T-80BVM with KMT-6 mine plough. This appears to be a previously undocumented 200th Motorised Rifle Brigade loss. ImageImage 2/

Two destroyed Russian GAZ Tigr-M. One might be a loss from Balakliia, but I'm not sure about the second.

Note that almost all Z markings seen on this and other equipment in the show were painted by Ukrainians.

I've compiled equipment loss numbers for the Battle of Kyiv west of the Dnipro River, something that hasn't been tabulated until now.

Below is a chart showing confirmed losses for each side. The "+" numbers indicate possible equipment losses that can't be 100% confirmed. Image 2/

Below are the numbers of specific equipment types that were confirmed lost by Russia.

Note that my methodology differs from Oryx and WarSpotting in that I have only counted destroyed and captured equipment. ImageImageImageImage

20th CAA BMP-1 thread.

No units of the 20th Combined Arms Army were known to be using BMP-1 IFVs at the beginning of the invasion, but there have been multiple sightings of 20th CAA marked BMP-1s this past month. 2

The appearance of BMP-1s with the 20th CAA implies that they are using older equipment to replace losses. This thread will attempt to document all cases I've seen.
