1/ When newly elected Korean President Lee Jae-myung was set to meet President Donald J. Trump, I expected a positive event.
For 75 years, the U.S. has defended South Korea. My father fought there in 1953 and returned in the ’60s. Under our protection, South Korea became an economic powerhouse. 2/ South Korea now builds ~35% of the world’s merchant ships-second only to China.
I’ve argued their advanced shipbuilding could help solve America’s naval crisis. U.S. shipyards are outdated, leaving our Navy and Coast Guard with inadequate fleets.

🧵Comments by @elonmusk should start national conversations about: Reestablishing a Constitutional balance among the three branches; determining how best to bring the Courts back under the Constitution; and formulating executive orders & legislative proposals to establish a constitutional framework for reining in lawless judges. The Founding Fathers felt strongly about limiting the power of judges because they'd suffered under tyrannical & dictatorial British judges.
Reforming the judiciary (along with “no taxation without representation") was among the American colonists’ principal complaints about the British Empire prior to the Revolution.
A number of the grievances in the Declaration of Independence relate to judges' dictatorial and illegal behavior.
This is why the Constitution provided for a narrowly defined and limited judiciary — as Alexander Hamilton made clear in the Federalist Papers.

When 41% of Baltimore City School students earn BELOW a 1.0 grade point average we face a moral, humanitarian and national security crisis. Morally how can you exercise your right to “pursue happiness” if your school fails to educate you? -more As a humanitarian reality how can we accept a community in which 4 out of 10 students have been cheated by the school system and can’t get a job and are surrounded by violence, crime and drug dealing? Governor Kemp may have an opportunity to make real progress on election reform in Georgia.Last friday November 20 he called for the Secretary of State Raffensberger to audit the absentee ballot envelopes for signature match with applications. He also called for election law reform Would have been better if Governor Kemp had acted on November 12 when Trump Recount Chair Doug Collins and GOP state chair David Shafer wrote Raffensberger asking for a review of the signatures on absentee ballot applications and envelopes.

Biden’s 245 word,97 second long Fourth of July statement may be the most anti-American speech ever given by an American presidential candidate. He omits the Creator in his shortened version of the Declaration of Independence. Biden admits “all men are created equal”but in the modern secular left fashion forgets to mention that they are created by God and their rights come from God.Then he defames Jefferson limiting the Founding Father, Founder of the University of Virginia, etc to one idea-slaveowner

Joe Biden came out for reparations for African Americans this week. Newsweek:
"If, in fact, there are ways to get direct payments for reparations, I want to see it. But why are we waiting around for the study?" Reparations is both morally wrong and totally impractical. Why should people who have never owned slave pay reparations to people who have never been slaves? Would Europeans, Asians, and Latinos who came to the US in the last 50 years be taxed to transfer their money to other people? Furthermore eligibility would be a nightmare.

I watched the 2am press conference with Governor Walz and the senior leadership and I am completely mystified by their reasoning and their message. They said again and again they do not have enough uniformed people to control the streets. Yet they have not really mobilized The Minnesota National Guard currently has 13,000 members. If I understood the press conference they have mobilized about 1,000. Riots have to be met with overwhelming force to minimize loss of life and loss of property. Whatever you think you need multiply by 3 or 5.

Church Openings in Rome: today Callista and I went to Mass at St Patrick’s American Church in Rome for the first time in ten weeks. They had blocked every other pew so there was guaranteed social spacing and on the open pews they had marked where 3 people could sit instead of 6 Everyone at St Patrick’s wore a mass, sang through the mask, but did lower it to take communion. It was good to be worshipping in a church again. I hope the anti-Church Governors will take notice that we can worship safely in a healthy manner.

President Trump was right sunday night when he said he got worse press than President Abraham Lincoln. It is true, as historian Alan Guelzo has pointed out, that southern slaveholding newspapers hated him with vitriol worthy of CNN or MSNBC. However Northern papers were divided President Trump said “I am greeted with a hostile press, the likes of which no President has ever seen. The closest would be that gentleman right up there. They always said, Lincoln, nobody had got treated worse than Lincoln. I believe I am treated worse.”
