US visa denied for the 2nd time by @usembassyottawa.

I had 4 invitation letters to conferences in USA in August and September. 7 supporting letters. Enough funding for all my travels.

Reasons: I’m a refugee & I don’t have strong ties to #Canada yet, I just arrived here.

1/3 I’ve a study permit for Canada valid until 2025. I’m on a full four-year scholarship at Huron University. I’m working full-time at Plan International Canada this summer. I’m on @CanadaDev’s Refugee Education Council.

What strong ties does the US wants?
