๐งต Sun News and other Gannett properties automating their Twitter feed actually gets the posts shadowbanned.
150 views on 36,800 followers which represents 0.4% of their followers. They arenโt seeing it because of Gannettโs method of pushing shit out there 1/
So why does it matter and why should you care?
Well, it matters because what Gannett is doing is artificially suppressing their readership by doing this.
Despite what people think, writers do get judged on clicks and less clicks means issues in performance review time. 2/

1/ I have a follower named Seth that asked a Bank of America President for a $14 fee refund because of the Coronavirus. What he got was the longest fucking letter I've ever seen a BofA Pres ever send.
I'm going to thread it for you. It's 15 Tweets long after this!
2/ Good morning Seth,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear how much this coronavirus has impacted your business and life. As you may have seen, Bankย of America has done a lot of things that have benefited our customers, employees, and communities during this pandemic.

Long tweet thread, please share
A lot of you have been asking me my opinion about Bank of America's plan to "pause" mortgage and other loan payments.
It's a good idea.. In theory, but I'm not holding my breath. I think a lot of people will get screwed still. Here's why. 1/
Forbes magazine mentions about mortgages that "mortgage holders will need to request" and it's a case by case basis.
That's crazy
So there are millions of home loans through Bank of America, but let's say 1 million people ask for help.
Associates will be overwhelmed 2/

Please Share. I'm mad:
Bank of America banker back east sent me this email that Bank of America sent them of how to "proactive outreach" (sales call) customers during this #Coronavirus normal.
Watch this and be pissed. I'm going to point out a bunch of things wrong here
First thing:
Turn on the "maximum empathy". Mind you this is a sales call. Do you think salesmen do well at funerals? Umm... No!
I'm not saying they don't feel legit bad for their clients but the fact that Bank of America tells them they should act with empathy is kinda weird
