Word about this needs to get to the street. Publicity is is being done but could be better to ensure every citizen is saved the hassles of extortion and stress on unending queues.

The bouquet of services on National Population Commission website is nicknamed - VitalReg.

Services available through the portal includes -

A - Birth Registration (Self Service) - Certificate issuance for those born after 1992 to date for N2,000 only.

B - Foreign Birth Notification - Notification for babies birthed outside the shores of Nigeria to Nigerian parents for N3,000 only.

C - Birth Attestation (Self Service) - For adults, (those older than 17) for N3,000 only.

D - Modification (Self Service) - Modification of any of the above issued documents for N2,000 only.

E - Certificate Reprint - To request for a reprint of either the birth or attestation certificate for N2,000 only.

F - Certificate Verification - For verification of authenticity of any of the birth or attestation certificates

G - Death Notification (Self Service) - Certificate issuance for Nigerian who has died, it is tagged free.

H - Hospital Onboarding - Not sure of the use of this options as at now.

Kindly note the following -
1. All the fees attached are tagged as "convenience self-service fee", so perhaps these services may be available for free if NPC offices are visited and their officers render these services to you with government resources.
2. NIN - National Identification Number is required to process most of the services, have yours close by when about to initiate any service request.
3. There will be need to take passport photograph during the process, ensure your device has a functional camera and you are in a well-lit area when you get to the photo capture section.
4. All the documents issued are in electronic format (jpg or pdf), mostly downloadable instantly upon completion. You can however print it out at your convenience with a printer.

Personally, I have used 4 out of the 8 services (birth registration, birth attestation, modification and certificate reprint) and I can attest that they are functional and work well per their intended function. I am yet to access the other 4 services, and so unable to give an assessment of those for now.Image

To break even in Agriculture, you have to be intentional. As a Maize or Cassava farmer. Do you know that your planting per stand determine what your yield will be and most farmer don’t even know this or they think it’s stressful to keep to it. Look at this @EletaValentine farm. There’s a lot of work and planning involved in the beauty you’re looking at. The images here informed my decision to use rope for my maize and it’s coming out fine too. Kudos Prof. Eleta. Happy Sunday Y’all.

@ayopo is one of my mentor and I have known him since growing up. He was my very old Senior at both Secondry School and UNAAB.

Today, I’ll be sharing what I learnt from him.

Economics of Citrus farm establishment

A very good retirement plan you can do. I shared few days ago on Vitamins C available in Orange and Green Pepper and Chilli. Even though they had more Vitamins C than orange, it fades of faster if not consumed whereas orange retains its Vitamin C making it so relevant.
