1/5 For anyone who wonders what severe ME looks like, this is how I have spent 90% of every day for the last 10 years. It is a living hell. It is incredibly common, and incredibly severe, but is ignored by society and by medicine. #MECFS#Chronicillness2/4 ME is twice as common as MS and just as severe according to the NICE guidelines issued to GPs. However, doctors receive almost no training whatsoever about ME. The funding is pitiful, merely a fraction of other chronic diseases.
