1/ My #IoT Telegraph - A thread:
At the end of my talk @NottsTechfast on "The History of IoT", I closed with a show stopper demo. I built a homebrew Telegraph from wood, nails, spring, wire and other components I had around the house. @msdevUK, @MSIoTDevs@MicrosoftIoT#MVPBuzz2/ The basic circuit diagram of the Telegraph is shown here. The Transmitter side has three 1.5v AA Batteries which connect through the rudimentary Morse Button out to an Electromagnet at the receiver.
Sadly the only way to keep any form of stability in my 1 month old @Surface_UK... Yes that's an ice block... Yes... A) I'll be resetting it (backing it up as I type). B) I'll be filing a service call if that doesn't work. C) yes, that's an ice block! Haha
The only thing I'm doing right now is using @MacriumReflect to image the SSD...
