A reader comments "there was a notable absence of any discussion of racial equality in the most recent issue".
A few things to flag up…

2) early on in lockdown we realised we had a real challenge with even 'business as usual', so… [thread] …we decided to produce a special summer edition themed 100% around 'Towards a new normal, and beyond'.
3) As part of that (p.5) we did flag up this BPS statement bps.org.uk/news-and-polic…

Seeing the great people on the @divhealthpsych virtual conference, and waiting in the wings, prompts a (potentially controversial) question… what *type* of Psychologist has the best real-world conferences? Been chatting with Daryl about this... fascinating broader debate around psychology's tendency to be self-critical (although sometimes not self-critical enough), the belief that one's own view is the only 'right' way, and the 'policing' of the discipline's scope and 'reach'... ...Great that Psychology has been at the forefront of the replication debate / open science, but has it strengthened the belief in some that there is good and proper, objective, impersonal, non-political SCIENCE and that is all we should do and talk about? ...
