It is extremely devastating to see my beloved homes cede to the sea and to consider that there will be more loss in my lifetime. An unimaginable loss of people, nations, culture, and history.

The Global North has a debt to pay and we, as marginalized people experiencing this impact ourselves - because fascisim and resulting #ClimateCrisis everywhere will always impact the most marginalized first - MUST meaningfully integrate internationalism in our understanding of the world and our work. "Exit services" look like affordable housing, a living wage, competent medical services, a right to unemployment because you quit to escape sexual violence at your food/hospitality/whatever industry job You don't hear s3x worker rights activist talking about "exit services" because we're busy asking for all of these things and more. So much more. Because we know that what benefits us benefits all. And those benefits don't have to be especially applied to us
