Few weeks back, I posted a thread on Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF), a Texas-based supremacist group fundraising for demolishing churches in India.

Today, I'll unpack GHHF's anti-minority operations in India & its connections with Hindu nationalist groups in US. 🧵1/13 Since 2006, GHHF has been relentlessly targeting Christians & Muslims— both online & on ground in India.

In Dec 2020, GHHF President Prakasrao Velagapudi said that Christianity spreads “through deception, force, killings, rapes, torture, stoning." 2/13

Backstory behind “foreign investment” in Kashmir

Last month, a 36-member delegation from the UAE visited Kashmir purportedly to explore investment options in the region.

Out of 36, 13 were Emirati & rest were affluent Indian expats & folks with RSS links 1/11 Bal Krishen Rathore, a Dubai-based Jammu origin businessman, the man behind the whole show, who put the entire delegation together and, in fact, paid for the charter plane from his pocket, has long been a target of different Indian agencies. 2/11

We’re on our own. No help will come. It didn’t come to Yemen, Sri Lanka or Rwanda. Why should we hope otherwise in India? In international politics, only profit, power, race, class & geopolitics determine morality.

Rajiv Pandit, a Texas, US-based ENT specialist who works at @methodistdallas, @MethodistSurg, endorsing calls for genocide of Kashmiri Muslims.

Pandit is also a board member of Hindu American Foundation, which shares close ties with Sangh Parivar groups in the US. Image My report: How Sangh Parivar affiliated family foundations pump money into HAF’s advocacy efforts in the US.

There is no evidence of “Hindu Genocide” in Kashmir & it is primarily a Hindu nationalist construct.

According to the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), 219 Kashmir Pandits were killed in Kashmir between 1989-2013. 1/n

#KashmirFiles Even Kashmiri Pandit Sangharsh Samiti (KPSS) survey put the number of those killed between 1990- 2011 to 399.

Last week, Hindu American Foundation issued an email action alert, calling on the non-resident Indians to write letters to India’s foreign ministry to persuade the cosponsoring universities to reconsider their association with the #DismantlingGlobalHindutva conference. 1/n HAF along with Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA), the Coalition of Hindus in North America (CoHNA) claim to have collectively sent more than 1.3 million emails to dozens of universities to withdraw their support for the conference. But they failed miserably. 2/n
