Rebecca’s best books of 2021, a thread.
In 2021 I read 242 books or 84,706 pages. Roughly a book every 36 hours. These are my favorite 20 books, not all published in 2021 and the list is not in any order. #BestOf2021 The Border by Erika Fatland. A social and cultural travelogue about all the countries that border Russia. Man oh man do I wish she could write as fast as I can read. Riveting.

Above all he was a passionate abolitionist. He was a celebrated orator and considered a radical even in liberal MA
