The Russians once planted bugged USB drives in kiosks near NATO headquarters in Kabul, hoping that American personnel would buy a drive and plug it into a secure computer. It worked. It should worry us how easy this was since we now know much of the UK Government’s business appears to be done outside of official channels.

👀 Current Scottish Tory electoral strategy:

- Make Scotland great again
- Drain the swamp
- Attack broadcast media
- Undermine confidence in postal voting
- Deny democracy

☠️ Have I missed anything else they’ve borrowed from Donald Trump playbook? 🤔 Make Scotland great again.

🤨 An unambiguously British nationalist image from the party political broadcast for Scottish Labour. This comes from a place of attempting to emulate the Tories as much as possible in the hope that Brexit backing seats in the North of England will return to Labour.

I'm certainly not unique in this, I rarely have time in any day to focus on distractions within sections of the independence movement.

I'm laser focused on #SP21.

But I will use this moment to make it clear that Tories are banking on infighting doing their work for them. Image If you are pro-independence, regardless of political affiliation, I'd advise it's best to do everything that you can to make sure that pro-independence voices are elected at #SP21 to ensure that Scotland has a choice about its future.

For me, that's by making it #BothVotesSNP.

The wall to wall coverage of Coronavirus is giving me flashbacks to the time I woke up with an extremely blinding and piercing headache. I rarely get ill, but I knew there was something seriously wrong, so a family member took me to hospital in north Edinburgh straight away.

After some initial checks by a doctor, they sent me to a quarantined bed in a private room for further tests and treatment.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 @JennyLConstable, who voted No in 2014, eloquently explains why she would vote for independence in a future referendum on Scotland’s future.

- Scotland being told that voting No in #IndyRef would mean remaining in EU.

- Scotland’s remain vote being ignored after #EUref. In my view, one of the best things about 2014 was the many new articulate voices that came to the fore during #IndyRef. Each person that makes there voice heard gives others the confidence to do the same.

📈 Not only have @theSNP been consistent in their position on Brexit, its been a steady hand navigating the Scottish economy through rolling seas of Brexit. This can often be lost in the heat of the Brexit debate.

📰 Here's some of today's good news. 🏠 8,767 homes delivered for the year to September 2018

🏘 A total of 80,104 affordable homes have been provided since 2007

👩‍💼 Per head of population, 50% more affordable homes and more than five times as many social rented properties in Scotland than in England since 2014

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 With the front page of today's @ScotNational in mind, by sheer coincidence, I bought a book last week called 'Addresses Against Incorporating Union 1706-1707'. The book cover. Apparently, Glasgow was divided on the Union and it 'stimulated unusual levels of protest'. It also states that 'strong anti-union sentiment' was found amongst Glasgow artisans.

The mind boggles as to why some news broadcasters shut down on people sharing their news coverage. It’s not a good look, particularly for a public broadcaster. From the UK government website. Certain exceptions only apply if the use of the work is a ‘fair dealing’. For example, the exceptions relating to research and private study, criticism or review, or news reporting.

🔍 I don’t know much about my Father’s side of my family, so I’ve spent the last few months doing some family research. So far it’s taken me to Stewarton in Ayr, via Govan in Glasgow, and Luss in Loch Lomond. I discovered via the Burns Chronicles that my Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather Colquhoun was a friend of the Burns family of Ayrshire, and had one of them as a lodger for some time. So I decided to go to Alloway, via Stewarton, to see where they lived.

A Tory councillor doubling down on questioning @JoyOfTheSNP's right to have her voice heard on the basis that she made Scotland her home after living in another country. This is what happens when the Scottish Tory leadership don't have the backbone to deal with it. Utterly toxic. If you scratch beneath the surface of the cosy liberal image that Scottish Tories try to project there's a rotten core.
