In case you haven’t heard: TODAY IS ELECTION DAY and 271 RFS candidates are on the ballot across 38 states!
This year’s candidates truly are the best of us. They include college students, doctors, UX engineers, and first generation leaders. When we dig deep our candidates break down like this:
55% are POC, 53% are women, 26% are a part of our LGBTQIA+ fam, and 2% are nonbinary.

What Just Happened: In a truly heinous 5-4 decision, the SCOTUS just upheld the use of partisan gerrymandering.
Why This Matters: This ruling gives GOP representatives the ability to create district maps that give them the upper hand in federal, state, and local races.
Which means, if you’re a progressive voter in a state controlled by Republican legislators, you’re screwed.
