1/ “When are we done experimenting?” Was a question I recently fielded. For those who understand the power of prototyping, this can be a frustrating mindset.

How can you help change the mindset of people who are more interested in the “when” than the “why”? (thread) #prodmgmt 2/ This person was anxious to get “done”. It’s not surprising that she was a project manager.

Getting “done” isn’t a bad desire. I love people who want to make progress.

But defining what “done” looks like is the issue.

Work on smaller chunks of work and you'll be amazed at what happens in your team (thread 👇) 1. You don't have to plan out as much. You'll quickly see the reality that we tend to plan WAY too far out. It's not that long-term planning is bad. We just do it in far too much detail and forget that most of it is just a guess.

A general sense of long-term is sufficient.
