What:
A distributed, public, universal property information network.

Why:
Up to 25% of properties have errors in their chains of title. These β€œpublic” records can actually be difficult to access in a consistent, timely manner.

Additional data from non-gov orgs could provide context to public records. In a universal property information network, consumers and professionals would be able to view multi-producer historical information about real property to make more educated, data-driven decisions.

1. $500 million: @Microsoft's commitment to stimulate affordable housing development in #Seattle. This the commitment to community that's missing from so much of the tech world. #UnlockTheDoor 2. Emerging tech platforms: @moxiworks is creating a platform similar to @UpstreamRE (without the single listing input concept).
