Looking to maybe switch my courses off @Teachable. A new platform would ideally have 5 things:

πŸ”Ž 1) Text Search
Teachable doesn't have search. Students can only use their browser's search to search content of a single page.

Search should search across all course content. πŸ”ŽπŸŽ¬ 2) Video Search + Transcripts
Search should also search across the transcript of any uploaded videos.

Users should be able to download a video transcript and search within that transcript without downloading it.

Hello to my new followers!

I'm a UX Researcher & Experience Designer. I've been running my own UX consulting biz since 2012.

Today, I'm the founder of Career Strategy Lab, a 6-month UX career coaching program that helps UX professionals land their dream roles.

In 2017 I accidentally got into UX career coaching when I created a workshop about UX portfolios and thought "after I teach this workshop, I'll never have to talk about portfolios again πŸ˜†"

But then, people started to get hired! And as they say, the rest is history!

Emails I generally ignore:

- Can I pick your brain
- Would love to get your opinion on this
- Can I buy you lunch or coffee so I can ask you some things?
- I'd love your advice [insert a 2,000 word message here]

Here are a few tips ... 1) Be brief!!!

Read and re-read the email before you send it. Pretend you have to ask your question in the length of a tweet.
