I need to stay up pretty late tonight, which got me thinking: "Why don't I live-tweet making a small dungeon?". So yeah, follow along if you want to see me crash and burn at this. My goal is something small (6-8 rooms) with a tweet-length desc. per room. OK LET'S GO (a thread!)
First of all: dungeon themes... I'm thinking:
Ants are pretty cool
A small tower? Also pretty cool (and verticality is nice)
An abyss with a rope bridge + some sort of alternate route.
Human opponents. Brigands, bandits, whatever.
And some kind of horrible twist...

Gonna regret this, because I'm very tired and it's kind of late but I will now attempt to key this dungeon by tweeting on my phone. One room per tweet, typos galore, let's see how far I can go before I decide it's not worth it. 1, 2, 3, here we go! #ttrpg1. Entrance blocked by rusty bars. Slowly starts moving when approached, forming a crude face. Booming voice: "More creeps ready to be chewed up eh? You'll die down here, just like the rest." The mouth then spits up a half chewed goblin and laughs. The gate opens up into a grin.

TUTORIAL TIME! Follow this thread to see my process and maybe pick up some tips and tricks. What do I know?
Anyway, here's a small mix between a hexmap, a more traditional dungeon map and some creatures and stuff. Lets go!
Let's start out with a sketch. I use a blue pencil since that's easy to remove if scanned, but you can go with whatever you like (as long as it's eraseable). Try to keep the pressure pretty light to prevent it from being hard to remove later. Isometric paper is super helpful btw!

Darktide Beach. After being hit by a freak tidal wave, life has been hard on the villagers of the small fishing town. Many people are still missing, and there are rumors of dark ceremonies on the beach and lighthouse. Strangest of all is the giant crab corpse that washed ashore. 1. Darktide Village. The isolated town is struggling to recover after the wave. People say they saw bright lights in the night sky over the ocean prior to the disaster. The mayor is desperate to get normal fishing operations up and running, but most boats are wrecked.
