BREAKING: Roe v Wade falls. SPUC’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) John Deighan said: “This is a monumental day for justice, the rule of law and, most of all, for the US unborn and their mothers." #RoeVsWade "Roe vs Wade has been deadly, enabling a hostile environment that has been harmful to unborn babies, as well as to mothers and their families. Its repeal is a significant step forward and will doubtless save millions of lives."

As we near the *possible* overturning of Roe v Wade, it's a good time to look at our own abortion law. Introduced as a Private Member's Bill by Liberal Democrat, David Steel MP, the Abortion Act 1967 was predictably vague in its articulation:
