Can't stand agenda driven media & those who preach democratic values while being blind to hypocritical stances in foreign policy. Can't stand neocon war mongers

I don't know why the ABC keeps pushing these "lest we forget" articles when they themselves have admitted most of the Tiananmen narrative was lies & falsehoods.
Noone died in Tiananmen Square. But fierce street clashes killed many #auspolabc.net.au/news/2023-06-0… via @ABCaustralia
Here the ABC admits that the contents on Bob Hawke's teary speech (that defined a generation) was based on lies and falsehoods that he discovered soon afterwards, but he never corrected the record abc.net.au/radionational/…

Lots and lots of cheap Russian oil.

"Twitter suspends you for telling the truth. Not for lying.
Just look at Julian Assange"

Don't talk about Tiananmen Square truthfully. You'll be suspended..

The students are chanting & singing as they file out.
Noone died in the Square.
Violent street fighting came later

Ouch. Reality is dawning..
"Western sanctions were based on a formally correct but misleading premise: That Russia is more dependent on us than we are on Russia.
Russia has more wheat than it can eat, & more oil than it can burn. Russia is a provider of primary & secondary..
... commodities, on which the world has become dependent. Oil and gas are the biggest sources of Russian export revenues. But our dependency is most acute in other areas: food and also rare metals and rare earths. Russia is not a monopolist in any of the categories...
