We've cautiously started ordering in. Am going to try and feature personal reccos. #foodmenus Weekend menu. I'm yet to see kulith saar on a menu anywhere! Image

Freelancers in India, am going to curate a thread of all the writing opportunities available so you don't have an excuse to say 'I don't have contacts'. #thread #ctx @bustle is a good home for personal essays.

It's been two years since I took on the heavy mantle of being a freelance journalist. Would you be interested in a thread on advice/lessons learned?

If no, you may want to mute this thread! Before I begin, here's a thread I wrote about my thoughts on being a journalist, freelance and otherwise.

I've been agonising about whether to come out and name this person. I wanted be very sure I could handle the reactions that will come my way. I think I am now ready.
This is my story about CP Surendran, and how DNA ruined due process for me. My SH complaint was against CP, who was then Executive Editor of DNA. I was a member of the features team. At the outset I want to mention, he didn't physically harass me but he did it to many others around me (I've been witness)+ he made the most sexist and misogynist comments.
