What I experienced during a visit to the #asburyrevival, a 🧵

I’ve seen a lot of skepticism online about what is happening at Asbury University right now. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical myself. On my drive down, I was reflecting on how many times I’ve heard people.. (1/x) called hyped-up worship nights “revival.” My wife and I were chewed up and spit out by the “revivalist,” NAR crowd and culture, and I was dreading pulling up to Asbury because I was scared it would be a waste of time. I’m so glad I was wrong. (2/x)
