A Palm Sunday equine thread: The imagery I hear from many voices in the #ChristianNationalist camp is about Jesus’ second coming, mounted on a war horse, ruling with an iron scepter. This, they say, is the future of the church and we should live into it. On Palm Sunday, we celebrate Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. These two different mounts present a choice for us.
